IHSA ZONE 2 - REGION 1

Both Barb Kozoil (or Koziol, on left) and Beth Ulbrecht of Alfred University (on right) qualified for Region 2 Regionals twice this past season. Kozoil pointed out of both intermediate divisions while Ulbrecht was a Regional Qualifier in intermediate flat and open fences. Alfred has frequently finished third in the Region 2 hunter seat team standings the past few seasons. Can the Saxons win their first-ever Region Title versus several new opponents in 2010-11?

Though Brooke Cagwin of Cornell University (on right, with Head Coach Chris Mitchell) was only seventh in the 2009-10 Region 3 hunter seat open rider standings she still qualified for Regionals in both hunter seat open divisions. Cornell has a run of ten straight Zone 2, Region 3 Reserve Championship seasons behind Skidmore but will face the Thoroughbreds during the regular season no more. Can the Big Red win their first-ever Region Title versus several new opponents in 2010-11?
