Alfred University head coach Theresa Lounsberry (on right - and that is her new married last name) is seen here at the Pre-Season Tournament of Champions invitational with Maggie Childs of the Saxons after the latter won her open fences class to start the show on September 27th. The junior from Rochester, New York has figured big in Alfred's two Region 1 wins through three shows. On October 11th Childs won both her open fences and intermediate flat and on October 19th when Alfred hosted she was again two-for-two in those same classes (while pointing out of intermediate flat as a bonus). The Saxons won 42-38 over Cornell on the 19th to move back into a tie with the Big Red as both schools have 117 points headed into the Cornell show on November 2nd.
