IHSA ZONE 5 - REGION 4

Virginia Intermont College had two teams entered in the Winter Touranement of Champions invitational in Fredericksburg, Virginia on January 28th. Though their "Black" team defeated their "Gold" team 33-32 for the Reserve Championship the Gold team earned two blue ribbons compared to one for the Black team. Junior Rory Mueller (pictured) holds her blue ribbon won for the Gold team over novice fences.

Already qualified for Regionals in both hunter seat intermediate divisions, High Point University junior Rachael Lallier (pictured) won her open flat class at the February 4th Virginia Intermont College show. Through six shows High Point is third place overall behind only Virginia Intermont and Virginia Tech in the Region 4 team standings, a remarkable feat for an IHSA program in only it's second season of competition.
