Savannah College of Art & Design was one of four teams from Zone 5 to accept an invitation to the 2013 Holiday Touranment of Champions in Long Valley, New Jersey on December 7th. From left to right are Devon Walther, Lydia Todd, Quinn Lowsky and Madison Albano of the Bees, who scored 20 points for eighth place out of 23 schools present that day. SCAD was high point team at the pre-season Tournament of Champions event on September 21st, and should they take part in the Winter Tournament of Champions on January 25th in Fredericksburg, Virginia the Bees are one of several teams in the running for the Tournament of Champions series trophy.

Not too many teams have captured Western Region Titles each of the past ten seasons. Berry College is looking to make it eleven straight in 2013-14. Two Vikings competed in the same individual class at 2013 IHSA Nationals. Cecilia Shields - Auble (on left) and Tania Van der Westhuizen are seen here signing for their prizes after placing 10th and 9th, respectively in individual novice western horsemanship at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania last May 5th.
