Seen here during the flat phase of the Cacchione Cup Competition, Melina Laroussi of the University of South Carolina was one of only two freshman to qualify for IHSA Nationals in the Cacchione division. Laroussi edged out Lorrin Mortimer of the University of Georgia in Zone 5, Region 2 by only one point to earn the right to compete for the cup at 2010 Nationals against 30 others (Photo by Kate Heisler).
