IHSA Zone 7, Region 2 Team Standings

Anna Wilhelm of West Texas A & M University (pictured) is seen here after winning the Team Open Western Horsemanship class at 2022 IHSA Nationals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania last May 8th - for Black Hawk College! However Black Hawk is only a two-year school, so the next logical step was to find a four-year school to continue her education and stay within an IHSA program. Wilhelm did that by going to Canyon, Texas and joining the Buffs. Wilhelm kicked off her junior year with a first in open horsemanship and a second in open reining in her WTAMU debut on October 1st. And through four shows the Shannon, Illinois resident leads the Region 2 Western open rider standings, helped in part by winning three of her four open horsemanship classes.
