From Ada, Michigan, Kaitlyn Rankin (pictured) is one of ten Michigan State University hunter seat riders to qualify for 2024 Region 4 Regionals. Rankin pointed out of both limit divisions. The Spartans have now won six of the past seven Region 4 Hunter Seat Region Titles, and in 2023-24 they were the only team in the region to score 30 or more points at each of the first six shows. Winners of four of the eight English events held in 2023-24, Michigan State won the region by an unusually large margin of 32 points. Both Michigan State and Region 4 Western High Point Team Albion College unseated the previous year's Region 4 high point teams, with the Spartans ahead of Western Michigan and the Britons ahead of Adrian College to advance full teams to the post-season.
