From left to right are Alley Miller, head coach Allie Pelz and Ella Murphy of Lake Erie College. In the final limit flat class on October 26th Murphy took the blue ribbon and Miller the red. This helped keep first-year head coach Pelz (who as Allie Truitt rode for Virginia Intermont College in the early teens) undefeated through two shows. The Storm won the 2025-26 season opener 41-30 over both Albion College and host University of Findlay. Then on the day this photo was taken Lake Erie prevailed narrowly, a 35-34 winner over Albion with Findlay at 32 points for the day. During the October 25th show Samantha Pierce of the Storm won both of her open classes to take high point rider honors.
