You need 28 or more points to qualify for IHSA Regionals in the open divisions and Samanatha Oriti of the University of Findlay (pictured) finished the 2025-26 season with exactly 28 points in the open flat division. A senior from Hinckley, Ohio, Oriti will be one of three Region 1 riders competing in the open flat at Regionals. After a slow start the Oilers came on strong in the second half of the season to capture another hunter seat Region Title. Findlay has won their region on the English side every year save for one time since the 1999-2000 season.
