IHSA Zone 5, Region 5 Team Standings

Hannah Durrwachter of Savannah College of Art & Design (on left) is off to a good start in 2025-26. The senior from Stuart, Florida won her introductory class at the Pre-Season Tournament of Champions invitational in Towson, Maryland on September 27th, helping SCAD's "Bee-Strong" team score 36 points which resulted in third place (a second SCAD team, "Bee-Lieve," was fourth with 34 points). Then on October 11th in Ocala with the University of Florida hosting Durrwachter won another intro class to qualify for Regionals. Through three official IHSA shows this season Durrwachter is so far the only Region 5 intro rider qualified for Regionals. Bees head coach Ashley Henry (on right) has seen SCAD win three straight over three different Region 5 teams (reserve champs have been Florida State on October 11th, Central Florida on October 12th and the University of Tampa on October 18th). The Bees hold a 28 point lead over surprising North Florida headed into a pair of SCAD home shows November 1st and 2nd.
