IHSA Zone 5, Region 5 Team Standings

From Austin, Texas, Savannah College of Art & Design senior Hallie Eskey (pictured) was third in her intermediate flat class at the December 7th Holiday Tournament of Champions invitational in Blacksburg, Virginia to help their Bee-Strong team prevail 41-31 over their Bee-Lieve team. Fifteen schools were invited, with SCAD allowed to bring two squads which as it turned out were high point and reserve high point teams, respectively. SCAD will again have two teams at the next T of C series event, the Winter Tourney at their Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center in Hardeeville, South Carolina on January 25th. And the home cooking will keep on coming as the Bees welcome the rest of Region 5 to Mr. Waranch's place February 8th and 9th.
