Savannah College of Art & Design won the 2024 IHSA Nationals hunter seat team competition by over 17 points with Hattie Bradford (on right) closing out her four years with a most consistant effort to help the Bees. The senior from the state of Tennesssee was fourth in individual limit over fences on May 3rd, fourth in team intermediate over fences on May 4th and fourth in team intermediate on the flat on May 5th. Head coach Ashley Henry (on left) has now coached SCAD to four IHSA hunter seat National Championship team titles. This moves Henry into a tie with at least one other coach for third place all-time among hunter seat head coaches behind only Russ Walther at Southern Seminary Junior College in the 1980's and all-time leader Cindy Ford at Skidmore College from 1991 through 2018.
