IHSA Zone 5, Region 2 Team Standings

From Ashville, North Carolina, Autumn Lance (on left) was the first Berry College rider to compete at 2023 IHSA Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky last May. Lance was seventh in individual ranch riding on May 5th, in what was the first Western class held at '23 Nationals. Head coach Margaret Ellington (on right) has guided the Vikings to 19 consecutive Western Region Titles dating back to the 2003-04 season. Berry is ahead at the winter break but Mississippi State is only four points back in a region where both the Western and English team races are closer than most around the country.
