We moved our May 2024 photo of the University of the South's Emma Sameth to the Team Standings page as the junior from Pottersville, New Jersey had one of the most dominant regular seasons of any IHSA open rider so far this decade. In eight shows Sameth won 14 of the 16 open classes she was entered in, including a perfect 8-and-0 in open flat. Sameth was either high point or reserve high point rider at each of these shows while the Tigers were also perfect. Sewanee won all eight of the Region 1 hunter seat shows and eventually finished 102 points ahead of runner-up Middle Tennessee State.
