This picture of John Hutchinson of Liberty University (on right) and Flames head coach Suzanne Flaig was already on this page from
last season. But because Hutchinson finished the September 21/22 weekend in the lead within the Region 4 open rider standings we
decided to leave the photo of the senior from Johnson City, Tennessee where it is. While the photo dates from his first IHSA show
on September 26, 2021 Hutchinson has helped Liberty get off to a good start in 2024-25. The Flames finished the first IHSA
weekend tied with William & Mary for second overall with 70 points each. The University of Mary Washington was the surprise
leader after two shows, as the Eagles are seven points up headed into the October 6th Randolph - Macon show. UPDATE: Hutchinson
added on 12 points at the October 6th Randolph Macon show while Liberty was reserve high point team to Sweet Briar by a 40-38
score. This allowed the Flames to move into first place, three points ahead of Mary Washington headed into the November 2nd
Sweet Briar show.
