With a first in open flat and a second in intermediate fences Kaylor qualified for the ride-off that day, eventually winning over Hollins senior Katie Furches (not pictured) for the red ribbon. Willis won her novice flat, making her two-for-two in the division at the time. Sweet Briar was also high point team that day with 39 points.
