Back on opening day University of Delaware teammates Kallie Mitchell (on left) and Melissa Kay (on right) won both of their novice classes to qualify for the "question-off" held in place of a ride-off. Mitchell, a senior from Hockessin, Delaware would be awarded the high point rider ribbon while Kay would be reserve high point. Head coach Whitney Carmouche (center) would also see her Fighting Hens earned high point team honors with 40 points to defeat host Stockton by a 40-31 score. After earning a 41-29 win over Drexel on February 9th the Fighting Hens opened up their lead to 115 points on the second place Dragons. By keeping their lead over 98 points the University of Delaware clinched their 19th trip to the post-season in hunter seat-program history with two shows remaining.
