IHSA Zone 3, Region 5 Team Standings

Besides winning the region for hunter seat the University of Delaware qualified 14 English and 3 Western riders for Regionals. One of the 14 on the hunter seat side was Kaitlin Loock (pictured), who has one of the easiest names to mispronounce. The two O's in Loock would make you think "Looo-ck" but in fact it is pronounced "Lock" like the thing usually paired with a key. A junior from Gambrills, Maryland, Loock qualified for '26 Regionals in novice equitation.
