On short notice Zone 3, Region 3 added a ninth show prior to their Regional show on March 28th, and during this particular show Eva Froio of Centenary University (pictured) won both of her open classes and took over first place in the Region 3 open rider standings. The sophomore (and former Sacred Heart University rider) from Wall Township, New Jersey was second in individual open over fences and third in the Cacchione Cup Class at Zone 3 Zones on April 4th, securing a trip to IHSA Nationals May 1st through 3rd in Mill Spring, North Carolina to compete in those same divisions again. The Cyclones hosted and won Zone 3 Zones by a 51-40 margin over Delaware Valley University. Therefore Centenary will field a full hunter seat team at IHSA Nationals for the 31st time since 1990.
