Region 2 completed their hunter seat Regionals show in only 68 minutes on March 13th. And Delaware Valley University junior Brooke Benson (pictured) won the eighth of nine classes that day with a first in novice equitation. From Doylestown, Pennsylvania (which is where Delaware Valley University is located), Benson was one of four Aggie undergraduate riders to win a class that day. Due to the pandemic - and the fact that Region 2 got in only seven shows this season - there were only 23 rides including alumni at this season's Regionals. The Aggies tied West Chester for high point team a day earlier with 33 points each to run their record for the year to 5-1-1. Now having won 13 consecutive Region Titles, Delaware Valley heads to Zones on April 9th in Long Valley, New Jersey trying to make the top two in a five-way team competition.
