Penn State University pulled back ahead of Dickinson College over a pair of Region 1 shows at Swan Lake Stables over the February 28/March 1st weekend. The Nittany Lions won by scores of 39-32 and 38-33 to move 12 points ahead of Dickinson with one show remaining. Caroline Talbott (on right, with head coach Kristin Gretok) was one of the heroes for Penn State over the weekend spanning two calendar months. The freshman from Westford, Massachusetts who rides in both intermediate divisions came through with a first, two seconds and a third all of which showed up on the Nittany Lion's point cards. If Penn State holds the lead at the Grier School on March 21st their run of consecutive Region Titles will grow to 23 in a row.
