Long Island University (Post Campus) finished the fall with a 3-1-1 record including a 45-40 win over Fairfield University on November 9th. Defending region champion Sacred Heart University (which scored 39 points on November 9th) trails the Sharks 210-201 with at least two and likely three Region 4 shows remaining in early 2026. Among the riders who have helped LIU take the lead is Bethany Frankel (pictured). A sophomore from Roslyn Heights, Long Island Frankel leads the Region 4 open rider standings by nine points. Frankel is the only Region 4 rider qualified for Regionals in open fences and needs only one point to qualify in open flat.
