More often than not a rider from Skidmore College finishes the season on top of the Region 3 hunter seat open rider standings. But for 2025-26 it is Alessandra Song of Colgate University who has the honor. Seen here as a freshman on November 5, 2022 the senior from New Paltz, New York edged out Isa Jensen of Skidmore by an 84-81 margin to represent Region 3 at Zone 2 Zones on April 4th in the Cacchione Cup class. Song needs to place third or higher in the Cacchione Class at Lehman Farms (in a field of five) to earn the right to compete at 2026 IHSA Nationals for the Cacchione Cup.
