The October 26/27 weekend was especially kind to the University of Connecticut as the Huskies won twice to open up
a significant lead within the Region 4 team standings. After winning the October 26th show by a 45-37 margin over
host Stonehill College the Huskies rang up a perfect 49 score at their home show on October 27th, with open rider
Abigail Boyer (pictured) winning twice. A senior from Alameda, California, Boyer is tied for second in the Region
4 open rider standings only two points out of first through four fall shows. Meanwhile UConn has opened up a 35
point lead on surprising Tufts in their first year in Region 4 following a 14-year run in the recently-dissolved
Zone 1, Region 5 which was made up exclusively of schools located in Connecticut.
