Mount Holyoke College won eight classes at the October 22nd University of Massachusetts at Amherst show while earning high point team honors with 47 points. The eighth blue ribbon winner of the day for the Lyons is Elliott Candela (on right), a senior who qualified for Regionals in novice equitation in the process. On the left is Mount Holyoke sophomore Kathryn Smith, who was second to Candela in the class. It was also the first time Candela won a blue ribbon, having come close several times. The Lyons ran their record to 3-and-0, outscoring the host school by 12 and Springfield by 17.
