IHSA Zone 1, Region 1 Regional Qualifiers

Way back on November 12, 2016 Madison Ahn of Becker College (on left) won her first IHSA blue ribbon. From Oxnard, California, Ahn is seen here that day with head coach Nicole Eastman and the blue ribbon earned in what was then called walk-trot-canter. In 2019-20 Ahn qualified for Regionals in limit flat. However Ahn was one of many seniors this season who did not get the chance to compete in a 2020 post-season show (Ahn rode in a regional show as a sophomore, in walk-trot-canter). The IHSA wisely called off all shows scheduled on March 13th or later due to the coronavirus.
