sophomore Katherine "Katie" Williams (on left) earned a fourth, a third, a second
and a first at 2009 Zone 7 Zones on April 5th. The latter two ribbons were earned
in team classes, helping the Buffs tie the University of Colorado for first at
48 points each. The third tiebreaker, points over fences, sent the full WTAMU
hunter seat team on to IHSA Nationals in Murfreesboro, Tennessee later in the month.
2009 ZONE 7 ZONES RESULTS
The Class-by-Class results of 2009 Zone 7 Zones, held in Firestone,
Colorado on April 5th, 2009. The top two riders in each individual
class and the top hunter seat team in the team competition
advanced to IHSA Nationals April 23rd through 26th in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee.
